Afra’s educational background includes an Advanced Diploma in Environment Health and Safety, reflecting her commitment to maintaining high standards in health and safety practices.
She has a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in various roles. Starting as a Safety Inspector, she progressed to become a Safety Officer and Coordinator through various big events.
Afra then took on the role of EHS Specialist from October 2020 to May 2022. In this capacity, she conducted risk assessments, monitored and updated databases, provided training on safety procedures, and implemented fire drills.
Her responsibilities included manual handling training, educating on personal protective equipment, and ensuring compliance with OSHAD forms.
Currently, Afra is a Training Coordinator where she identifies training needs, plans and communicates training programs, and maintains records.
